Brent Alan

I am proud to be a 6th generation Sonoma County Native, I love our community. After studying communications at SRJC and Meteorology at Mississippi State University, my broadcasting career started in 1995 at KFTY TV50 in Santa Rosa. While serving as Chief Meteorologist, I also provided weather for KCBA Fox 35 and KION CBS 46 in Monterey/Salinas and KVIQ in Eureka and forecasted for KRON in San Francisco. While at TV50 I also hosted two weekly series, "Into the Millennium" and "Tech Watch". While still on TV, I started my radio career at KSRO in 2000, providing weather for the morning news with Jim Grady and David Westley Page. Over my 20-years with KSRO I also was the fill-in host of the Morning News and have provided private weather consulting services. After spending some time away from broadcasting, I am so excited to be part of the The WOLF family, I feel right at home. You can hear me mornings M-F delivering the news on The WOLF. When I am not preparing local news stories, you can find my wife and I roaming the fairways of Sonoma County.

Rick Michaels

Rick was born in New York not with a silver spoon in his mouth, but with a microphone in his hand. Rick and his family moved to Florida in 1969 and as Rick grew up the passion for radio grew with him as well. Rick's first job in radio was at the # 1 station in Tallahassee. From there Rick went on to bigger and better things including stints in West Palm Beach, Ft. Myers, and then Memphis, Tennessee. Rick loves all types of music, especially 60's,70's and 80's, and has hung out with a lot of great artists from Jerry Corbetta of Sugarloaf to Don Brewer of Grand Funk to Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night. Rick loves it here in Wine Country and on off days, if he's not on a golf course, he's cooking on the grill. You name it, he cooks it!

Sue Hall

Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturday 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Sue Hall is a local girl. She graduated from San Francisco State University as a broadcasting major. Her first radio job was at KSKI in Hailey, Idaho while Sue was perfecting her status as a certified ski bum! She decided radio was a cool profession. Sue headed back to San Francisco to return to college and was hired at KFRC as their very first Mobile Studio Coordinator. Eventually Sue got on the air there as the host of the midday show. She also worked at KMEL, K101, then returning to KFRC for the next 18 years. Besides being a radio personality, Sue had a reoccurring role as a television reporter on the Nash Bridges series while it was filmed in San Francisco.

Currently a part-time reporter for ABC 7, Sue is a San Francisco broadcasting veteran boasting 33 years in San Francisco radio, television and now in Sonoma County on The Wolf. When she's not working (when is that?) Sue loves to cycle the Dry Creek Loop and wake board on Lake Sonoma. You can reach Sue Hall at SueHall@Kwvf.Com.

Mike Watermann

Mike Watermann is a long-time veteran of Sonoma County radio. A staunch promoter of live music, you’ll find him at Montgomery Village every summer as the emcee of the Village’s free concert series! Well known to Bay Area musicians, Mike was the drummer for several years with San Francisco’s tribute to the Rolling Stones—The Unauthorized Rolling Stones.

Music is his passion: “The only jobs I’ve ever had since I was 15 were either in radio or playing music,” Mike said. Before moving to Sonoma County in 2002, Mike worked in St. Louis, Missouri, for 26 years as radio personality and program director, where he also played in several bands, including 18 years with a show-band called Sh-Boom, and a stint with guitarist Billy Peek—a popular St. Louis performer who had been a regular with Chuck Berry and Rod Stewart.

“When you combine the music scene in Sonoma County, and the privilege of living in northern California wine country, there’s no place I’d rather be!” Mike and his wife, Jane, live in Windsor, where Jane also works as a home stager. You’ll find them at restaurants and concerts on the Windsor Town Green, or just relaxing at home.
